Sex is healhty

Today I wanna share a little bit about 'the most interesting' topic. So why don't you sit back for a while, have your hot tea with you while reading this article?

As I surfed around my favorite medical website (www.webmd.com), I found an article that might brighten up your day. Yes, it's about sex. I'm discussing it now from medical point of view.

Some researchers do believe that sex itself is good for our health. Often we're too embarrassed to discuss about it, it seems like that sex is a taboo-thing-to-discuss. But here I will sort out 10 good reasons that sex is healthy (let me give one special important note here: it is healthy if you do it with your husband or wife).

1. Sex relieves stress
Sex can reduce blood pressure and stress level. If you do it right, with right partner, in right time and place, it will bring you benefits for managing the stress.
2. Sex boosts immune level
Experts made a study that people who do regular sex (once or twice a week) will have higher immunity level.
3. Sex burns calories
I had written an article that kissing is healthy, because it burns hundreds of calories if you do it intensely in an hour. And so does sex activities. Research shows that thirty-minute session can burn 85 calories averagely. So, it's one option of great exercise, isn't it?
4. Sex boosts self-esteem
I read this morning in the newspaper that female athlete can perform much better if the night before the match, she had sexual session. And yeah for sure, sex can bring you comfort, physically and psychologically.
5. Sex improves cardiovascular health
Do it till you sweat, then you will have a healthy heart. The researchers also found that having sex twice or more a week reduced the risk of fatal heart attack by half for the men, compared with those who had sex less than once a month.
6. Sex improves intimacy
Having a healthy relationship will need holistic care in every aspects, and it will include sex. Often couples solve their problems in bed. Having sex and orgasms increases levels of the hormone oxytocin, the so-called love hormone, which helps us bond and build trust.
7. Sex reduces pain
When you are in 'heaven', the body will release a hormone called endorphine. It is very useful in reducing pain.
8. Sex reduces prostate cancer risk
Great news, gentlemen! Studies had shown that young men with regular sexual activities will have lower risk of getting prostate cancer in older age.
9. Sex strengthens pelvic muscle
For women, doing a few pelvic floor muscle exercises known as Kegels during sex offers a couple of benefits. You will enjoy more pleasure, and you'll also strengthen the area and help to minimize the risk of incontinence later in older age.
10. Sex improves better sleeping
The oxytocin released during orgasm will help promote good sleep (that's why there's a book titled "Why do men fall asleep after sex?" hehe..). And having a good sleep is really healthy
